Launch day — Engine Works Park

Open for Business.

Engine Works Park, Margate. Launched 8 May 2026.

On Thursday 8 May 2026, Cllr Leo Britcher, Deputy Mayor of Margate, cut the ribbon to officially open Engine Works Park — Yeats’s flagship commercial and innovation scheme in Margate.

The 126,000 sq ft scheme delivers 59 high-specification SME units (1,500–5,100 sq ft) across a four-acre site at Continental Approach, Westwood Industrial Estate — a site with a rich industrial heritage dating back to the Hilger and Watts factory of 1964.

The space

Each unit features split-level layouts, super-fast broadband, three-phase electricity, solar PV panels and electric vehicle charging — designed for ambitious modern businesses.

Networking and celebration

We took a big risk but we are building high-grade commercial and industrial units, and this area deserves that — the demand is there to fill these spaces.
